Boustead Holdings Berhad (“BHB”), its wholly-owned subsidiary Bakti Wira Development Sdn Bhd (“Bakti Wira”) and 80%-owned subsidiary Cebur Megah Development Sdn Bhd (“Cebur Megah”), were served with a Writ of Summons and Statement of Claim in Kuala Lumpur High Court Suit No. WA-22NCVC-265-06/2020 (the “Suit”) by one Deepak Jaikishan A/L Jaikishan Rewachand (“Plaintiff”) on 22 June 2020. BHB has been named as the First Defendant, Bakti Wira the Second Defendant and Cebur Megah the Third Defendant in the Suit, which was filed in the Kuala Lumpur High Court on 4 June 2020. The other Defendants named in the Suit are Pesuruhjaya Tanah Persekutuan (Fourth Defendant), UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd (Fifth Defendant) and Suntrack Development Sdn Bhd (Sixth Defendant).
