Take-Overs & Mergers (Paragraph/Rule 9.19 (47A))

(Unless otherwise stated, all abbreviations and definitions used in this announcement shall have the same meaning as those defined in the announcement dated 2 March 2023 in relation to the Offer.)

We refer to the announcements dated 2 March 2023 and 15 March 2023 in relation to the Offer.

On 17 March 2023, Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad (“KIBB“) had, on behalf of BHB, submitted an application to the Securities Commission Malaysia (“SC“) for the following:

(a) an extension of time until 5 April 2023 to submit the independent advice circular in relation to the Offer, comprising the letter from the Board and independent advice letter from KIBB and the accompanying appendices (“Independent Advice Circular“) to the SC; and

(b) an extension of time until 17 April 2023 to issue the Independent Advice Circular to the holders of the Offer Shares.
