KUALA LUMPUR, 28 January 2022 – Boustead Holdings Berhad (Boustead) today announces the appointment of Datuk Maulizan Bujang as the company’s Independent Non-Executive Director of the Board, marking another move forward in delivering the Group’s ambitious Reinventing Boustead revitalisation strategy.
Datuk Maulizan, age 58, holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Ottawa University, Kansas, USA as well as a Diploma in Business Studies from the Institute of Commercial Management. He served various positions in the Johor State Government from 1994 to 2013 and currently sits as Chairman for Gerbang Nusajaya Development Sdn Bhd since 2008. Previously, Datuk Maulizan held the position of Director for DK Leather Corporation Berhad from 2006 to 2008, Chairman for Fella Holding Berhad (Fella Design) from 1997 to 2008 as well as Director for Budiara Sdn Bhd from 1996 to 2008.
